CA Technologies

Since 2011, CA Technologies has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to deliver hands-on experiences for tween and teen girls to spark their interest in STEM careers.    

Tech Girls Rock  

CA Technologies has been a BGCA partner since 2005, beginning with a focus on internet safety and consumer software donations to local Clubs and moving into hands-on experiences like STEM workshops and field trips. Today, CA Technologies partners with BGCA for DIY STEM implementation culminating in Tech Girls Rock (STEM Centered) field trips for 100 tween and teen girls across the country to help them discover and cultivate an interest in STEM education and careers. The partnership is committed to empowering girls to explore a future in technology.

Innovative and inspiring learning opportunities are presented during STEM Related field trips that allow Club girls to experience STEM in the real world. Guided by local CA Technologies volunteers, participants engage in discussions on key IT trends and topics, learn about STEM careers and participate in technology-focused challenges and projects designed to provide fun experiences that are hands-on, interactive, and intentionally develop critical thinking skills.
