Bon-Ton Stores, Inc.
For over a decade, Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. has generously supported the Boys & Girls Club mission, with total contributions surpassing $1 million.

In 2013, Bon-Ton expanded its support through national online and in-store consumer engagement during the holiday season. Bon-Ton featured several ways for the community to support Boys & Girls Clubs and help Bon-Ton reach its donation goal of $500,000. Customers could purchase an exclusive teddy bear or make a donation at any of Bon-Ton’s stores, including Bon-Ton, Bergner’s, Boston Store, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers, and online. Customers could also make a $3 donation at any store or online to receive a very special savings offer for their holiday shopping. Fans on Facebook could spread the cheer by sharing a variety of virtual holiday greeting cards with friends and family. Bon-Ton Stores donated $1 to BGCA for every card shared, up to $15,000.

Bon-Ton’s support continued with a job placement program that provided in-store jobs to more than 216 Club youth during the holiday season. The program supported youth from 17 Clubs in New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Maine, South Dakota, Montana and Nebraska. The job placement program helps youth develop professional skills and ready themselves for future careers.

"Bon-Ton is committed to supporting our local communities,” said Brendan Hoffman, president and CEO, The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc.
