Darden Restaurants

The Darden Recipe for Success Youth of the Year (YOY) Scholarship program inspires Club YOY to envision their individual goals by introducing them to the possibilities of a post-secondary education.
YOY participants are provided valuable financial assistance and the tools needed to attain their goals through a two-hour workshop and a take-home tool kit as part of the Youth of the Year competition in their state.

The curriculum which combines elements of Money Matters, CareerLaunch® and Goals for Graduation is tailored to the specific needs and grade levels (9th – 12th) of student participants. Each attendee who completes the program receives a Darden Scholarship towards their post-secondary education or college-going experience for their Boys & Girls Club.
