Sprint

Sprint believes in positive youth development and social responsibility.

To keep young people safer online, Sprint provides an online safety resource -- 4NetSafetySM -- to educate parents, guardians, educators and youth about issues such as safer social networking, cyber bullying prevention and positive gaming experiences.

Focusing on open communication regarding online safety for young people, the program offers free tools from experts that address the perils that youth commonly encounter online and encourage positive dialogue with adults about internet safety. Working together, Sprint and BGCA developed materials to address these issues and make them available online to staff, youth and their families.

As part of this initiative, Sprint is supporting a special section on www.myclubmylife.com, BGCA's website for teens, to promote media safety -- cell phones, television and/or websites. The materials target teens, who, more often than not, communicate online.

As a telecommunications leader, Sprint is widely recognized for developing, engineering and deploying innovative technologies, including two wireless networks; industry-leading mobile data services; instant national and international push-to-talk capabilities; and a global Tier 1 Internet backbone.
