January 24, 2013 -- New York -- Seven-time Olympic Commentator and professional speaker Lewis Johnson visited Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County, N.J., and the Educational Alliance Boys & Girls Club in New York City to distribute 500 coats, hats, scarves, gloves, clothing and winter wear collected over the holiday during his “World Class Coat Drive.”
Lewis, who was joined by lots of smiling kids, shared inspiring words to Club members in attendance before helping to distribute the donated apparel. The coats were collected in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Lewis’s hometown, as part of a city-wide holiday effort to provide supplies for kids and families in need that were impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
