Church's Chicken
In 2000, Church's Chicken pledged
$1 million over four years to help send 2,000 Boys & Girls Club members to summer residential camps.
Churchs Chicken enjoys a rich heritage of supporting youth activities. Upon completion of a successful Camp Fund promotion in 1999 with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, Churchs Chicken decided to augment their support and roll the program out nationally.
"There is an incredible level of gratification that comes from seeing a child who is happy," explained Hala Moddelmog, president of Churchs Chicken. "Providing new experiences for children is another way to show our customers that we are serious about supporting the youth who live in the communities in which we operate."
Churchs Chicken, headquartered in Atlanta, is the worlds second largest quick-service chicken restaurant specializing in Southern-style chicken and side items like mashed potatoes and gravy, okra, corn on the cob and its unique honey butter biscuits.
