NFL Youth Football Fund
The NFL Youth Football Fund (YFF)
has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to provide $1.2 million dollars
to deepen the impact of local youth football programs worldwide. Since 1999, this partnership with the NFL YFF has played a revolutionary role in developing and expanding these football programs in local Clubs. Through their generous support, local youth football programs are funded to expand and enhance existing programs as well as to start up new youth football programs.
The NFL Youth Football Fund (YFF) was created in 1998 by the NFL and the NFL Players Association as a
nonprofit foundation to use football as a catalyst to promote positive youth development. The YFF provides youngsters with opportunities to learn the game of football, get physically fit, and stay involved in productive after-school activities with adult mentors. The YFF also has provided youth football participants with safe and accessible places to play, as well as programs and initiatives that address the importance of proper coaching, academics, health and safety and life skills development.
