Since
2003, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has been the official charity of Smucker's
Stars on Ice. Co-founded in 1986 by Olympic Champion and figure skating icon
Scott Hamilton, Stars on Ice has been America’s most prestigious figure skating
tour. In 2007, the tour took a look behind the scenes at the lives of world
champion figure skaters including Alexi Yagudin, Jamie Salé & David Pelletier,
Todd Eldredge and Ekaterina Gordeeva.
Smucker’s generously donates a portion of
the ticket proceeds from the show to support BGCA’s literacy initiatives. In
2007, Smuckers also donated books to Clubs in cities visited by the tour.
