Tests stamina and endurance.
Measures the amount of time for the athlete to run a half-mile (880 yards).
Competitors will run all together (4-6 per race). A second heat may be run if a competitor wishes to try to improve his/her initial time.
NOTE: There are no negative scores. If an athlete completes the race, s/he is guaranteed a minimum score of 100 points for completing the race. If the race is not run or completed, there will be no score given.
