Senior Vice President, BGCA Pacific-West

Kevin McCartney serves as Senior Vice President, BGCA Pacific-West. He supports the ever-growing complexity of a region that covers four time zones, contains more than 1,000 Club locations, and serves as the home of many corporate partners and other key relationships. Kevin is in the process of establishing a new BGCA Western headquarters in Los Angeles, which will be fully staffed to better support continued growth in the West, build capacity for local Clubs, and engage community partners.

Nationally recognized as a leader in the Boys & Girls Club Movement, Kevin is known for his ability to keep perspective of “what’s best for kids” while establishing community partnerships that ensure sustainability. He has been a Boys & Girls Club Professional since 1983. During this time, Kevin helped to establish new organizations in Tracy, California and Sacramento California, where he was the first Chief Professional Officer at both Clubs.

He has also served as the national organization’s Vice President of Government Relations, where he worked to serve more children through helping to create new public-private partnerships with government agencies and growing the Alliances nationwide.
