Shayla Cowan serves as a producer and chief of staff at Will Packer Productions and Will Packer Media. She’s helped produce some of the top comedy hits of the last decade starring some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including “Girls Trip,” “Night School” and “Little”. In 2022, Shayla and Will Packer made history as the first African American team to produce the Academy Awards, earning an Emmy nomination for their work. Shayla is also a mentor for the “Femme It Forward” program, which advances career opportunities for young women of color.
