The early years Steny spent at the Miami Boys Club helped him become the leader he is today. He knows firsthand that providing fun, safe and life-enhancing programs during non-school hours will result in life-changing impact on a young person. And because of his deep belief in the importance of Boys & Girls Clubs, he has consistently supported our efforts throughout his entire professional career. Steny Hoyer currently serves as the Democratic Whip of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Maryland’s 5th Congressional District.
