Senior Vice President, Resource Development
Sondra is responsible for resource development focusing on individuals through channels that include integrated direct marketing, alumni, major and planned giving, trustee engagement and events. She also oversees RD Operations and field-based RD Club Services.
She began her nonprofit management and resource development career in 1987 at a local Boys & Girls Club. Following 16 years of service to the Club, Sondra became a consultant to nonprofit groups. Applying her skills in organizational strategic growth and asset-based fundraising, she raised millions of dollars and built capacity for national nonprofits that include CARE, Feeding America, Habitat International and the American Diabetes Association.
In 2013, Sondra came full circle when she returned to her Boys & Girls Club roots as Vice President for BGCA’s Northeast Region. Two years later, the organization named her National Vice President for Resource Development Operations & Collaborative Services.
Sondra holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Arcadia University and a master’s degree in Business Communication from Emerson College. She has served on several community and nonprofit boards, as well as steering committees for burgeoning urban-based nonprofits.
