AshBritt
AshBritt and Boys & Girls Clubs of America are collaborating to empower Club leaders in cultivating a culture of preparedness among staff. This partnership aims to enhance understanding of how disasters uniquely impact children and their communities. Together, we aspire to create resilient Clubs and families, ensuring that Boys & Girls Clubs receive the necessary support before and after a disaster.
Community Resilience
AshBritt, a national leader in emergency management and disaster response services, proudly serves as Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s inaugural safety partner. This strategic collaboration aims to empower youth across the country with essential knowledge and resources related to disaster preparedness and recovery.
As part of this partnership, AshBritt actively supports BGCA’s Virtual Safety Summit & collaborates on emergency management trainings for Clubs through micro learnings and webinars. Furthermore, AshBritt demonstrates its commitment to community resilience by providing disaster grants to Clubs affected by emergencies and engaging with youth to explore career opportunities in emergency management.
Henry and the Hurricane

In addition to supporting the conferences of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, AshBritt has launched a new initiative called Stronger than the Storm. This initiative aims to provide age-appropriate resources that foster resilience and help children understand, prepare for and recover from disaster events. Under the leadership of CEO Brittany Perkins Castillo, AshBritt has developed a children’s activity book titled “Kids Can Be Hero Helpers” and recently released “Henry and the Hurricane,” which narrates the story of Henry’s family as they prepare for a hurricane. This initiative ensures that youth across the country have access to interactive resources for preparedness and mental well-being.
