Research shows that less than 30% of youth meet the physical activity guidelines and nearly 70% of non-athlete kids are dehydrated. Boys & Girls Clubs of America and BODYARMOR are working together to provide solutions that empower more kids to “Choose Better.”
Boys & Girls Clubs around the country will receive BODYARMOR Sports kits, which include:
- Hydration essentials from the entire BODYARMOR Sports Drink portfolio to keep youth members hydrated with better-for-you options.
- Sports equipment and training resources to drive engagement and movement.
- Schedules and guides to help Club staff enhance high-impact programming.
Employee engagement and volunteering are core tenants of BODYARMOR’S support. To launch our partnership, over 100 BODYARMOR employees volunteered at the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club for a day of service, sports and celebration — surprising youth with several beautification projects inside the Club.
This collaboration helps Clubs get more youth engaged in physical activity, while opening doors for Clubs to strengthen sports offerings and build stronger programs. When Club Kids are hydrated and healthy, they can focus on reaching their full potential on and off the field of play.
