Cricket Wireless is building healthy human connections for happier youth.
For the third year, Cricket Wireless is collaborating with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to provide safe spaces and resources for kids to learn and grow. The organizations recently renewed their annual agreement for the 2022-23 academic year, concentrating their efforts in five key markets - Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. The initiatives for this academic year will focus on helping to increase and maintain teen membership in Boys & Girls Clubs through college and workforce readiness programs.
In addition, Cricket Wireless and Boys & Girls Clubs of America teamed-up again to spread smiles during the holiday season through Cricket’s annual holiday giving campaign, 12 Days of Cricket. The campaign surprised over 30 Boys & Girls Club families and 200+ individual Club members across the country with gifts valued at more than $140k.
Through its ongoing support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Cricket also continues to expose Boys & Girls Club members to the rich Black college experience. Club members get to experience the revelry of game days and benefit from one-on-one interactions with Cricket’s HBCU Campus Ambassadors.
