Crowe and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have partnered to increase programming, technology, staff competency, and adoption of MyFuture, BGCA’s web based online learning platform to uplift skill-building, safety, readiness, and equity for young people across America.
Crowe LLP is a public accounting, consulting, and technology firm with offices around the world. BGCA and Crowe began working together nationally in 2020 through an employee-led giving campaign to help Club kids and families through the Covid-19 crisis. Crowe employees encouraged family and friends to donate through an online campaign to support food security and students transitioning back to school. Through the “Crowe Story Time” volunteer initiative, employees also recorded themselves reading children’s books to share with Club kids. More than 120 videos were recorded and remain available through the Crowe Story Time You Tube Channel.
Today Crowe supports BGCA’s mission and programming through funding club capacity to use MyFuture and Crowe employees are volunteering locally. MyFuture is a web platform that enables Club kids and staff to engage with program content, learn new skills, earn recognition, and share media with peers. Crowe’s support has an emphasis on the Computer Science pathway, designed to help Club kids further their interests and skills in coding and computer science, while making it easy for staff to provide fun, accessible experiences over time.
For Crowe’s annual Give Back Day, Crowe employees handed out over 4,500 back packs stuffed with school supplies to over 40 clubs across the country.
Every day, 15 million kids leave school with no place to go.
