Crown Castle

Crown Castle and Boys & Girls Clubs of America are committed to preparing young people for successful careers and futures in STEM fields. Crown Castle also participates in clean-up days, contributes to holiday wish lists and leads youth in fun, educational STEM activities at local Boys & Girls Clubs.

Supporting STEM Enrichment, Restoration & Resources on a Local Level

Beginning in 2022, Crown Castle’s local offices partner with more than 50 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country by investing nearly $2 million into STEM programs for youth and volunteer opportunities for staff. On scheduled clean-up days, employees volunteer on projects that restore and beautify local Clubs based on their individual needs. During the holiday season, Crown Castle’s giving program allows employees to make donations to local Clubs by purchasing items that will support them throughout the year. Over the summer, Crown Castle hosts STEM Inspiration Days for volunteers to visit local Clubs and lead youth in fun, foundational activities that explore STEM interests.

Cultivating the Next Generation of STEM Professionals

With growth in STEM career fields continuing to outpace all other job industries in the U.S., providing youth with opportunities to nurture STEM skills and interests has become integral to their future success in the workforce.

Boys & Girls Clubs offer an array of STEM programming that engages kids and teens — including female, Black and Latino minorities that are often underrepresented in STEM careers — in fun, hands-on activities that introduce them to science concepts with real-world applications. Grounded in helping youth build technical and social-emotional skills, Club STEM programs are age-appropriate and match the needs and resources available in local Clubs and their communities. Club members are also exposed to mentorships, networking opportunities and career days to help them pursue STEM careers.

The ”Crown Castle Connects Youth to STEM Program” supports this work by bringing high-quality, accessible STEM programming to kids and teens at 50 local Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide.
