Corporate Partner Criteria

  • Revenue: BGCA requires a minimum investment of $150,000 per year to become a national partner. More details about the minimum donation requirements will be explained by a member of BGCA’s Business Development team. Additional funding may be required if pass-through to Clubs and/or support of a particular program is desired.
  • Endorsement: Boys & Girls Clubs of America does not engage in direct or implied endorsements.
  • Exclusivity: Boys & Girls Clubs of America does not allow company-wide or category exclusivity. It is in the best interest of Boys & Girls Clubs of America to maximize the spectrum of potential partners.
  • Fundraising Sales and BGCA Resources: The promotion should not require BGCA to conduct a promotional effort or commit major resources in order to actualize the fundraising potential. Promotions will not be based on acquiring, using the names of, or soliciting Boys & Girls Clubs of America donors, vendors, partners or employees. BGCA will not enter into partnerships where the main (sole) focus is on securing new customers for a company or when the main mechanism for the partnership requires actions from BGCA, its database, its volunteers or its Clubs. BGCA will not participate in corporate voting contests benefiting nonprofit organization that receives the most consumer votes, except when there is a minimum guaranteed contribution of at least $150,000 to benefit BGCA.
  • Business requirements: Boys & Girls Clubs of America will only work with companies that have been in business for at least one year.
  • BGCA is not currently accepting proposals that include or are within the following categories:
    • Adult content
    • Alcoholic beverages
    • Dangerous products/firearms
    • Tobacco/Marijuana

BGCA adheres to the Better Business Bureau’s Standards for Charity Accountability.
