When kids walk through the Boys & Girls Club door, it creates a domino effect — equipping and empowering them to graduate from high school and become anything they can dream. In fact, 93% of Club kids (youth & teens) expect to graduate and 8 in 10 applied to college — many, the first in their families to do so.
Now that’s something to celebrate.
You can create your own legacy. While you’re at the Club, you’ll have opportunities, and doors will open. You just have to be brave enough to walk through them.

No male on either side of Rickey’s family had ever graduated high school — but Rickey was determined to create a new family legacy. With support and encouragement from his Club, he’s now in college and studying computer science.
As a first-generation college student, Sierra’s Club was there to prepare her for life after high school and teach her how to make responsible financial decisions so she can finish her degree and pursue her dream of becoming a physician’s assistant.
Jorge never let his circumstances keep him from reaching his goals and thanks to his Club and a caring mentor, he built the confidence to be himself and discovered a passion for advocacy that he’s applying to his college major at Columbia.
