For nearly 75 years, The Coca-Cola Company has worked to strengthen local communities through its partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA).

As a founding sponsor of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Workforce Readiness Strategy, Coca-Cola's investment supports essential skill development, career exploration, employability skills and credentialing, and work-based learning opportunities for youth at 4,700 Clubs nationwide. Together, we’re helping to close the opportunity and job readiness gap by preparing 4.7 million youth who visit Clubs every day to become the future American workers, leaders and innovators of tomorrow.

The five-year partnership will advance essential skill-development at Clubs, enabling youth to build social-emotional skills, such as leadership, teamwork and problem-solving, which are critical for 21st century careers. It will also enable youth to gain industry-specific certifications for first jobs in high school and following graduation. Additionally, the partnership will provide young people access to career exploration opportunities that ignite their interests and develop their skills toward meaningful career goals.

As we continue to navigate the impact of COVID-19 on our Clubs, young people need us more now than ever before. With the long-term economic and societal impact of COVID-19 unknown, Clubs will play a crucial role in helping youth stay on track, academically, and build foundational, transferable skills to become both life and workforce-ready.

Coca-Cola is committed to helping close the opportunity and job readiness gap by preparing youth to succeed in the workforce. Coca-Cola is also committed to expanding Club youth’s access to job/career exploration opportunities (especially through digital programs such as MyFuture) and supporting social-emotional skill development and learning opportunities that prepare youth for 21st century jobs/careers.

Through the partnership, Coca-Cola and BGCA will build a more equitable and inclusive workforce in America and will ensure young people are equipped with the tools to pursue their dreams and achieve great futures, no matter what life throws at them.
