Lifetime Giving Society

Lifetime Giving Society

The Lifetime Giving Society honors donors whose cumulative giving to Boys & Girls Clubs of America totals $1 million or more. These visionaries provide critical resources allowing us to expand our reach and services nationwide, so more youth can thrive during out-of-school hours.

Recognition & Benefits:

  • Recognition of your name at BGCA headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
  • Opportunities for national media and press recognition.
  • Invitations to exclusive national events, including National Youth of the Year and BGCA’s National Conference.
  • Engagement with BGCA leadership and staff through meetings and summits.

Eligibility: Cumulative giving of $1 million or more. Multi-year pledges are recognized once paid in full. Bequests are not eligible.


Great Futures Giving Society

Great Futures Giving Society

The Great Futures Giving Society celebrates donors who make unrestricted, annual gifts of $50,000 or more. These philanthropic leaders fuel our mission where it’s needed most, ensuring Boys & Girls Clubs can deliver high-quality out-of-school programming to all of America’s youth.

Recognition & Benefits:

  • Name recognition in BGCA’s Great Futures Gallery.
  • Personalized updates on the impact of your giving.
  • Invitations to national events, including the Summit for America’s Youth and BGCA’s National Conference.

Eligibility: Unrestricted gifts of $50,000 or more made within one calendar year. Multi-year pledges and gifts tied to event benefits are not eligible.


Blue Door Giving Society

Blue Door Giving Society

The Blue Door Giving Society recognizes donors whose annual, unrestricted gifts of $10,000 to $49,999 open doors for youth across the country. Named after the iconic blue doors of Boys & Girls Clubs, this Society represents a dedicated community of supporters who ensure kids have access to safe spaces, mentors and skill-building opportunities to achieve great futures.

Recognition & Benefits:

  • Name recognition in BGCA’s Great Futures Gallery.
  • Invitations to regional events, such as regional Youth of the Year events.
  • Updates on the impact of your support.

Eligibility: Unrestricted annual gifts between $10,000 and $49,999. Gifts tied to event benefits are not eligible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do restricted gifts qualify for Giving Societies?

  • Lifetime Giving Society: Yes. All gifts to BGCA are counted toward Lifetime Giving Society recognition.
  • Great Futures & Blue Door Giving Societies: No. Only unrestricted gifts qualify for annual Giving Society recognition.

Do matching gifts and donor-advised fund (DAF) gifts qualify?

  • Yes. Gifts made through DAFs, donor-designated funds or company matching gifts are eligible, provided they meet the respective Giving Society’s criteria.

Can my partner and I be recognized together?

  • Absolutely. Donors can be recognized as individuals or couples.

How will I be recognized?

  • Recognition includes your name displayed at BGCA’s headquarters (opt-out available), invitations to special events, a welcome packet and impact reports that show how your generosity is making a difference.
