Can girls be interested in technology? We think so!
Boys & Girls Clubs of America and CA Technologies are showing their commitment to girls and technology through Tech Girls Rock. Check out this video on how these workshops are helping girls discover an interest in tech-related educational and career opportunities.
Through the support of CA Technologies, Tech Girls Rock will be hosted by Boys & Girls Clubs across the country through unique workshops which include career exploration panels with technology professionals who will share their own experiences. Participants will engage in discussions on key IT trends and topics, and will participate in technology-focused challenges and projects, which will provide hands-on technology experience.

Through energetic workshops, fun discussions and lively activities, these young ladies are learning that technology can be an interesting avocation or profession for girls. The first five Tech Girls Rock workshops will be held January-May 2012 in New York, NY; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA; and Plano, TX, with a goal of reaching over 1,000 young women. Is it working? You be the judge! Check out our photo gallery of Tech Girls Rock workshops, courtesy of CA Technologies, on BGCA's Facebook page.
