Before hitting it big, Ronnie DeVoe and other members of New Edition spent hours rehearsing dance moves at their Boston Boys’ Club. From the age of six, the Club taught Ronnie how to work hard in academics, athletics and art, going on to shine as a member of legendary music groups New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe in the ‘80s and ’90s. He ventured into real estate in Atlanta while continuing to perform, establishing DeVoe Real Estate, and advocates for fair housing. He also founded Bikes & Backpacks, a charitable project to promote education and fitness among youth in urban areas and has visited numerous Boys & Girls Clubs with this opportunity.
