This grant, one of the largest single gifts from a foundation in our nonprofit’s 165-year history, will help amplify youth character development nationally across Boys & Girls Clubs.
Lilly Endowment has funded efforts of Boys & Girls Clubs of America for over 70 years and has made grants totaling $62 million to support us since 2022. We’re honored to be among a distinguished group of grantees across the youth development sector supported by Lilly Endowment.

We know that lasting, high-quality learning doesn’t happen in a single program — learning must be built into every part of the Club experience, from staff practices to youth experiences. Our national organization implements a comprehensive service delivery model to meet the needs of kids today and serve over 5,400 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide and on U.S. military installations globally.
