NFL Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware roamed the halls of the local Boys & Girls Club where his grandfather worked as early as age 10. It became his second home, leading him to meet Bo Jackson, who inspired him to pursue a college scholarship. DeMarcus earned a football scholarship to Troy University and became an NFL defensive end and outside linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos. The Superbowl Champion remains committed to the Dallas-Fort Worth community, supporting organizations aiding youth experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.
