National Staff - Human-Centered Culture
At Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we are committed to fostering a diverse employee culture where all individuals feel welcomed, respected and empowered — just like the safe, inclusive environments Boys & Girls Clubs provide every day to young people.

Working Together with a Human-Centered Approach
Our core value of inclusivity is essential to create opportunity for the youth we serve and is fundamental to who we are and the unwavering mission that guides us. As a national staff, we aim to create a respectful environment where everyone feels valued and has opportunities to succeed. We recognize the power of diversity and believe that by embracing our differences, we can better serve Boys & Girls Clubs, youth and their communities.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind and are committed to building strong, productive teams. Our goal is to create a workplace where everyone feels comfortable being themselves and can contribute their unique perspectives.
We do this through:
- Employee Resource Groups: Employee-led resource groups provide fellowship, resources and training, events and more.
- Educational Opportunities: We provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help our employees learn more creating inclusive environments.
- Employee Feedback: We gather feedback from our employees through surveys and other channels to ensure that they feel heard and valued.
- Cultural Recognition: We celebrate and recognize the diversity of our workforce through cultural events and initiatives.
