NFL
For more than 40 years the NFL has been a proud partner and supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs. Since 2021, the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative has supported Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Think, Learn, Create Change (TLC) program that teaches youth how to utilize their voice and become advocates to create positive change in their communities.
Champions of Change
For the second year in a row, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the NFL teamed up to host the Inspire Change Badge Challenge, a digital advocacy challenge designed to empower youth to develop advocacy skills and encouraging them to participate in community projects through their local Boys & Girls Club. Once again, three teens who showed commitment to the challenge and learning about advocacy won the ultimate prize – a trip to Super Bowl LX! Meet our ‘Champions of Change.’
Inspire Change
The NFL partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of America through its Inspire Change social justice initiative, funded by the NFL Foundation, to put youth in the center of their own advocacy journey. By developing projects to address social justice issues they face, Club youth are creating meaningful change in communities across the country. To date, Inspire Change has provided more than 100,000 youth in 100+ communities the opportunity to become youth advocates for the issues that impact their lives.
Justice for All Townhall
In March 2022, NFL players and coaches, local Clubs, and influencers participated in a “Justice for All” Town Hall to discuss crucial topics including racial justice, gender equality, and mental health. The Inspire Change grant provides resources that encourage and teach youth how to use their voice and actions to bring positive change to their communities.
NFL, Boys & Girls Clubs of America Helping Kids Stay Healthy

The NFL and Boys & Girls Clubs of America partnered to create opportunities for kids to participate in team sports and build skills to lead to an active, healthy life. Through the partnership, over 100,000 boys and girls, ages 6-18, will be introduced to the fundamentals of flag football and join NFL FLAG powered by USA Football. The NFL, with the support of all 32 Clubs, will provide annual grants to Boys & Girls Clubs including equipment, training for coaches and teen officials, and program materials. NFL Flag will promote and support individual Clubs to develop programs to make their Clubhouses the local destination for flag football. Locations will include school-based Clubs, Native Clubs and BGCA-affiliated Youth Centers on U.S. Military installations.
