Gilead Foundation

The Gilead Foundation and Boys & Girls Clubs of America collaborate to spark curiosity, build skills and expand opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for thousands of young people nationwide.

Shaping the Next Generation of STEM Leaders

Since 2025, the Gilead Foundation has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) to strengthen STEM learning opportunities for youth in elementary through high school, with a special focus on eight Boys & Girls Club organizations across the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Maryland, Washington, D.C., New Jersey and North Carolina.

Through this collaboration, significant support is directed to these local Clubs to enhance the quality, structure and accessibility of STEM programming. The initiative is designed to expand access to enriching, hands-on STEM experiences, while ensuring that programs are well-equipped to prepare young people for future educational and workforce pathways.

Together, the Gilead Foundation and BGCA are committed to closing the skills gap and building a future STEM workforce that reflects the diverse talent and potential within all communities.
