Prime Video, The Smithsonian, NFL Inspire Change, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America Launch Partnership to Help More Children Access Books

Prime Video, the Smithsonian and NFL Inspire Change are proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership to donate 1 million books and literacy resources to Boys & Girls Clubs across all 30 NFL markets as part of a program called, TNF for Good. This initiative is part of the shared commitment to promoting education, literacy, and opportunity for young people nationwide.
TNF for Good will deliver a diverse selection of books, carefully curated by Smithsonian educators. The collection aims to reflect the experiences and aspirations of children and teens, with a focus on history, science and technology.
“At Prime Video, we believe in the transformative power of stories—whether told on the field or in the pages of a book,” said Jay Marine, Global Head of Sports and Ads, Prime Video. “Through this partnership with the NFL and the Smithsonian, we’re ensuring that kids in every NFL market have access to resources that can inspire and empower them to dream big.”
This initiative underscores Prime Video’s commitment to supporting communities that host and play on Thursday Night Football.
“Placing a book in a child’s hands ignites a journey of wonder and exploration, ultimately empowering them to discover their passion and shape their future,” said Monique Chism, the Smithsonian’s Under Secretary for Education. “This initiative beautifully aligns with the Smithsonian’s mission to inspire curiosity and open pathways to new knowledge. We are excited to distribute 1 million books and literacy resources to youth nationwide.”

The rollout kicked off with events in Kansas City, Baltimore and Detroit, with NFL players, local leaders, and community partners joining forces to distribute the books at Boys & Girls Club locations. Events included reading circles and interactive activities designed to engage young readers.
