When David “Ogie” Ogron steps onto the “America’s Got Talent” stage next week, millions of viewers will see an incredible display of speed, determination and perseverance. For Boys & Girls Clubs of America, they’ll also see a longtime supporter who has dedicated his talents to inspiring young people to dream big.
Known around the world as the World’s Fastest Golfer, Ogie is the holder of multiple Guinness World Records, including an astonishing 10,392 golf balls hit in 24 hours and 132 golf balls hit in just two minutes.
But Ogie’s story is about more than records.
After surviving a car accident that left him with life-threatening injuries, Ogie rebuilt his life through grit, determination and an unwavering belief that any goal can become reality. That same resilience is what he shares with young people every time he performs.
As an advocate for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Ogie brings his high-energy demonstrations and powerful message to kids across the country, encouraging them to believe in themselves, work hard and pursue their own version of greatness.
