What kind of difference do you hope to make while being a part of BGCA’s National Youth Advisory Council?

Although my time on BGCA’s National Youth Advisory Council is temporary, I will make it my mission to make a true impact that is permanent. I will do this by working alongside my peers to advocate for the issues that matter to me, like food insecurity. But also being a voice for those who are overlooked.

What do you enjoy most about your Club?

I enjoy the opportunities my Club provides. Thanks to my Club, I’ve traveled across the country to speak on the issues that matter to me and developed essential leadership skills. I’ve also formed genuine connections with people who could positively impact my future.

What brings you joy?

I find true joy when I’m surrounded by the people I care about most. Being with friends and family allows me to create core memories that will last a lifetime. This includes my Club family—some of my proudest moments come from having the opportunity to serve others while working alongside the staff who constantly support me.
