What kind of difference do you hope to make while being a part of BGCA’s National Youth Advisory Council?
I hope to provide a voice for underrepresented youth demographics, whether it be military youth, overseas military youth, those in isolated areas or really anyone.
What do you enjoy most about your Club?
I enjoy that it has provided so many opportunities beyond my wildest dreams. Beforehand, I usually attended smaller leadership opportunities, but I realized that BGCA goes deeper than surface-level leadership. I’m so grateful that I walked through the doors of my Teen Center and got involved in the Keystone Club program.
What’s a quote that motivates you?
“You can either be the master of your fate or the captain of your soul, but you have to realize that life is coming from you, not at you.” – Timothée Chalamet
