What kind of difference do you hope to make while being a part of BGCA’s National Youth Advisory Council?
I hope to shed light on the experiences of military-connected youth for those who may not understand them. In addition, I hope to advocate for all youth and help make our nation better.
What do you think Club and BGCA staff could do to better understand the needs and experiences of teens today?
To better understand the needs of teens, both BGCA and Club staff could take more of an active listening role. This would benefit both groups, staff and youth. Teens would be able to share their true experiences, and staff could take that into consideration when interacting.
What brings you joy?
My family (biological and nonbiological), sports and youth advocacy.
